Application Fees

Application fees can be paid online by debit card (preferred) or credit card (Visa or Mastercard) when the application is submitted, or they can be mailed to the Faculty of Medicine, MD Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Mailed payment must be a bank draft or money order made payable to “University of British Columbia”, referencing your full name in the memo field.

The MD Undergraduate Admissions Office will not accept cash or non-certified personal cheques.

If you pay online, the transaction will show UBC E-Payment in the description field. Please call 604-822-2008 with any questions or concerns about your transaction record.

Application Fees 2017/2018* (Cdn $)

BC Residents: $119.75
Out-of-Province Applicants: $177.00
Out-of-Province transcripts (any number): $34.00

In addition, a fee of $50 is charged to start an application. The $50 is credited to your application fee.

*NB For an application to be considered complete, the Admissions Office must have received all official transcripts, citizenship and residency documentation, your submitted online application and application fee.

Application fees are non-refundable and not applicable to tuition.
