For the 2021-2022 application cycle, applicants who complete the Northern and Rural Training Section (NRTS) of the application and who successfully qualify for an MMI interview may be invited to participate in a virtual Northern and Rural Panel Interview. This panel interview will be an additional opportunity for applicants to express their interest in rural medicine, highlight their rural experiences and connections and speak to their suitability for the northern and rural seats in the MD Undergraduate Program. These 20-minute virtual panel interviews are currently scheduled to take place the weekend after the MMI Interviews.
