As well there’s a change in our BC residency definition this year so please be sure to check out our website for updated information and be sure to read our help guide for guidance if needed.
We wish you all the best in the application process this year.
When I click on the application tab, it just directs me to a pdf. of my previous application. Should this be happening?
This could mean you have not created your account yet. Remember all applicants including re-applicants will need to create a new application. To do so, you need to click on ‘new applicant’ tab and follow the steps to create a new application. If you are a re-applicant and would like to see your previous application you must use the same login name and password. If you need further guidance, we have a help guide on our website that could be useful.
I figured that might be the case but wanted to double check. Thank you for clarifying.
Should I put my honours thesis in the research publications section? It is part of a much larger project that will not be published in a journal for another few years, so there’s no peer-reviewed journal article to go along with it.
You can list it under the research publications section.
What is the best way for us to submit our care card? Mail? It states in the help that it is possible to do it through the application page, i this currently functional?
Also, the territories don’t have photo ID cards for health care. I hope this will be acceptable.
You can either mail a photocopy of your currently valid care card or email a copy through the online application system.
When I click on the application tab it directs me back to the login page?? I’m not sure what to do??
To better assist you, please email us the problem that you’re encountering.
Hi! I was going through the new ‘BC Residency Requirements’ and was wondering what ‘supported MD/PhD applicants’ are. Does this refer to applicants who are applying to the program who already have funding somehow? Or does it refer to applicants who have already have established a potential PhD supervisor, research topic, etc.?
Any insight would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks!
They are applicants who are interested in the program and are supported by the MD/PhD program. This program requires a separate application. For further details please visit the MD/PhD website.
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!
Hello,
I am working on the Academic part of the application. In 2004/2005 I attended and received a diploma from a fine arts institution that has since closed, so there is no way of me obtaining an Official Transcript from them. I do, however, have a copy of my transcript. Shall I leave this accreditation off of my academic history, or will a copy of my transcript (coming from me) suffice in this case?
The blog is not the best place to ask specific questions about your application. Please re-send your questions through the online application system.
