The offers for Round 3 have been sent. To the applicants who received an offer this round, congratulations! The deadline for Round 3 is Friday, June 16 at noon Pacific Time.
I just wanted to inform the admissions team about some concerns that us waitlisted individuals are having.
First, the wait is very long (about a week longer than previous years) and it’s really impairing our future decisions. The application is already open now and we still aren’t sure about our position.
Secondly, many of us are unsure if we should register for the MCAT (+$300) and prep courses (+$2500), and time is really running out. This could jeapordize our application for next year.
I know the admission team is working hard, but could the team please try to speed up the process? Releasing offers on the same day as the deadline could help, and also reducing the number of days between rounds. This could help us immensely and would be greatly appreciated.

As far as the MCAT goes, as we’ve said in a couple of other comments, it’s best to make arrangements to take the test because you do not want to jeopardize your application for next year.
