Meet some of our MD Undergraduate Program students.
I was inspired to pursue medicine because of my curiosity about the human body and desire to form connections with patients, while supporting them through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. This inspiration continues to drive and empower me throughout my medical journey. One piece of advice I would give to future medical students is to stay curious, while embracing learning, growth, and challenges throughout the process. Alisha Thapar, Northern Medical Program, Class of 2027
With a background in biomedical engineering, I have always seen medicine as a landscape ripe for innovation and meaningful problem-solving. Medicine combines my goal of providing high-quality, longitudinal care to patients with my innate drive for geeking out over technology and building solutions that can have exponential impacts on patients’ lives.
