Our online application system (OAS) is an essential part of how we run our admissions for the MD Undergraduate Program and how we will communicate with you during the admissions process. The application system houses a copy of all the messages we send to applicants. We recommend checking your messages for important updates from the Admissions Team about your application.
Note: We send both general messages and messages to specific applicants. It is your responsibility as an applicant to check your email and/or review the Communications tab in the OAS for new messages.
Useful Resources
We encourage you to review these resources prior to beginning your application.
- Applicant Guide: The MD Undergraduate Program application is long and requires very specific information. The Applicant Guide is here to help you. Read it before you begin and refer to it as you fill in each section of the application.
- Documentation Checklist: A list of all required supporting documents to include with your application.
Important Update: New MD Admissions Online Application System is Live
The MD Admissions Office has launched a new Online Application System. Starting June 6th, 2025, application data from the 2024-25 cycle or earlier can only be accessed through the legacy OAS URL: legacy.oas.med.ubc.ca.
If you submitted an application for the 2024-25 cycle or earlier, please use the legacy URL to view your previously submitted application(s) and related information.
Applicants who have been accepted or are currently waitlisted for the 2024-25 cycle should also use the legacy URL to:
- Access new student information
- Accept or decline offers of admission
- Communicate with the MD Admissions Office
