Holiday Closure Notice: The MD Admissions Office will be closed from December 24th to January 4th. During this time we will not be answering any messages. Please contact us after January 4th if you have any questions.

If your institution issues official electronic transcripts, we accept E-transcripts sent in the following manner:

    1. Sent directly by your Registrar’s office to
    2. Sent through a transcript ordering service (e.g. Parchment). On Parchment, we are listed as “The University of British Columbia – MD Undergraduate Admissions”.

E-transcripts forwarded by applicants are not accepted.

  • Please note that international students may not apply to the MD program.  
  • MD Admissions cannot provide information or advice for physicians hoping to immigrate to and/or practice in Canada.

  1. *All mail must be sent to this address. We are not responsible for mail addressed to our physical location or other Faculty of Medicine offices.
  2. The Admissions Office is not located at this address. Drop-in inquiries about the admissions process cannot be dealt with here. Information Session dates and times can be found here.

  4. ^Applicants of the current cycle are advised that written communication with the Admissions office must be via the Online Application System (OAS).
