Please note:

1. All mail must be sent to this address. We are not responsible for mail addressed to our physical location or other Faculty of Medicine offices.
2. The Admissions Office is not located at this address. Drop-in inquiries about the admissions process cannot be answered here. Please review our upcoming Information Sessions schedule or Frequently Asked Questions.
3. Note that any unauthorized use of a recording device during telephone calls is prohibited. Handwritten notes may be taken for your own personal reference.

E-transcripts

If your institution issues official electronic transcripts, we accept e-transcripts sent in the following manner:

1. Sent directly by your Registrar’s office to admissions.md@ubc.ca
2. Sent through a transcript ordering service (e.g. Parchment, MyCreds). On Parchment, we are listed as “The University of British Columbia – MD Undergraduate Admissions”; On MyCreds, we are listed as “UBC – Faculty of Medicine | MD Undergraduate admissions.”

E-transcripts forwarded by applicants are not accepted.

International Students and Physicians

• We regret that we are unable to admit international students. Our mission is to train the next generations of medical doctors who will serve the population of British Columbia.
• If you are an international medical graduate, please visit the International Medical Graduate Office website for more information.
• MD Admissions cannot provide information or advice for physicians hoping to immigrate to and/or practice in Canada.
